The purpose of amendment 0003 is to extend the required response date to 3 March 2025 at 2PM EST and to publicize a question and answer asked by industryQuestion: Please clairify – 4.1.1 of the SOW seems to state that the quote for the repair cost to the lid would occur after the contract is awarded and possibly after sending the lid to us for evaluation. However, the pricing instruction document seems to say that a not–to–exceed price is due at time of quote.Answer: The Government is requesting a worst case estimate as a not–to–exceed price for repair of the tank lid. This not–to–exceed price will be used to establish contract ceiling.
