(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Rhode Island.– Represent and advise the Authority’s officers, Staff and Board of Directors in all matters of law pertaining to their duties in the administration and operation of this WaterAuthority.– Prepare and approve the form and legal content of contracts, deeds, leases, bonds and all other legal documents. Also prepare and maintain corporate documents and records, for example, resolutions and amendments to the bylaws.– Identifies issues outside of this scope of work that may require special counsel and will oversee any outside legal specialists that may be engaged by the Authority.– Investigate all legal claims or complaints against the Authority and those that may be presented by the Authority.– Executive Director shall communicate all legal work to the Specialized or General counsel kept informed when a specialized counsel is retained. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 29, 2025.
