The Providence, Rhode Island Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in accordance with the Veterans Affairs Providence Healthcare System has a requirement for a Firm–Fixed–Price contract to provide construction services associated with the following objectives: Installation of multiple non–penetrating guardrail systems and safety ladders that provide roof workplace fall protection that are Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant. Contractors proposed guardrail system is to be tested and independently certified to be in accordance with OSHA fall protection for guardrail regulations, sections 29 CFR 1910.29, 29 CFR 1926.500, 29 CFR 1926.502 and 29 CFR 1926.503.
