Vendor needs to provide grant writer services to the government authority located in North Smithfield, RI.
- to engage a qualified and experienced individual or firm to provide grant writing and administration services with the intent of utilizing grant funding to support, supplement, and enhance existing and contemplated projects, services, and programs for the community.
- Said strategy should consider the needs and priorities of the community, available funding opportunities (grants), any required/necessary matching funds and their effect on the Town's budget
- Regularly contact various (Federal, State, nonprofit, and private) grant agencies/providers to determine what type of funding is available, determine terms and conditions of available grants including required matching funds and to inform Town Departments, the Town Administrator, and the Town Council what grants are available.
- Provide monthly reports of activities including grant applications, status of grants, required reporting and other grant related activities.
- Coordinate and comply with all grant-related deadlines.
- Comply with all grant program mandates and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate financial drawdowns and grant budgeting with the Town's Finance Director.
