(1) Vendor needs to provide pre-employment background checks services for criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, financial checks, and miscellaneous other background screenings for on an as needed basis to the government authority located in Rhode Island.
- Provide secure website using encryption and authentication standards to protect the confidentiality of web transactions.
- The website should be user friendly and efficient in the ordering of criminal background checks and receiving detailed reports by designated representatives
- Utilize existing databases or search individual courthouse records in each applicable county where the applicant(s) have lived within the last seven (7) years.
- Background checks must be run on all names under the social security number within the time parameters.
- System must be paperless and fully automated. Must provide methodology for both RIAC representatives and applicant to submit a request and authorization online. Emails, communications and authorization forms must be customizable. Vendor may be asked to demonstrate the online process.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 31, 2023.
