[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide security consulting services for public schools to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- Agency seeks a consultant to provide security expertise to assist with the assessment of existing systems and applications in the schools, including the selection, design and implementation of a new enterprise level security solution for approximately 42 school and support facilities with 4,200,000 sq. ft. of buildings.
A. Agency is looking to contract with a security consultant who acts in the best interests of Agency and will not participate as a hired consultant or subcontractor for any installations and services that will eventually be bid by Agency.
B. Actively work on the behalf of Agency when requested during any bidding process in the evaluation of potential bids posted by Agency on the security work
C. Provide expertise in the evaluation of technology by manufacturers invited to participate in any interview process and critical review of platforms offered by manufacturers
D. Provide expertise on the application of each type of technological solution utilized by Agency and advise on various distributors, installers, service and engineering service provided by local vendors.
E. Assist in the design of the architecture for building layouts of cameras, access controls and intrusion points for contractors to bid for installation
F. Assist in the bandwidth and utilization of data across the Agency.
G. Assist with communications of data utilization with Agency IT Dept. for navigation and solutions necessary to support an Enterprise level security system
(2) All question must be submitted no later than May 10, 2022.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
