- A thorough review and analysis of all information needed for the preparation of an actuarial valuation for the pension plan.
- A written actuarial valuation report for the pension plan structured in the following manner:
1. Introduction
2. Net pension liability
3. Schedule of plan contributions
4. Pension expense
5. Deferred outflows and inflows
6. Determination of discount rate
7. Summary of plan provisions
8. Actuarial assumptions and methods
9. Glossary
- Provide technical assistance as required in the administration of the pension plans.
- A thorough review and analysis of all information needed for the preparation of an actuarial valuation of the post-employment benefit liability.
- A written actuarial valuation report structured to follow GASB 75
1. Introduction
2. Descriptive information
3. Statutory contribution and liability determination for funding the plan
4. Determination of the net OPEB liability
5. Projections for determining the GASB discount rate
6. Development of the sensitivity analysis required by GASB
7. Determination of OPEB expense
8. Deferred inflows and outflows
- Provide technical assistance as required to assess long-term cost implications of proposed changes in health care benefits.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than March 18, 2022.
