Government Organizations Authority located in Providence, Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for on-call infrastructure maintenance and bridge engineering support consultant services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide on-call infrastructure maintenance and bridge engineering support consultant services related to emergency projects, immediate needs, and miscellaneous tasks to to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
• The selected Consultants shall work under the direction of the chief engineer and the state bridge engineer in conjunction with the federal highway administration, municipalities, and other state agencies, as required.
• Complete design and engineering research and studies
• Prepare design and engineering standards, drawings, policies, and specifications
• Assist the oversize and overweight permit section with the review of truck permits as well as provide field supervision with super load moves on an as-needed basis
• Perform peer reviews of contracts plans, calculations, and specifications prepared by design consultants projects
• Prepare work orders for general bridge maintenance and provide support as needed for such activities
• Prepare applications, including all associated documentation, as required
• Soil borings, sampling, or testing
• Property, topographic, or highway baseline surveys
• Wetland flagging and permit applications
• Right-of Way plans, plats, SD lists, and descriptions
• Historic documentation
• Signing and striping plans
• Maintenance and protection of traffic plans
• Identify and locate existing utilities
• Test, identify and locate hazardous waste sites or material
• Provide Infrastructure Maintenance Bridge Engineering Support Services for Emergencies, Immediate Needs, and related miscellaneous tasks for bridges and structures not currently in the TIP.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 20, 2021.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
