Government Authority located in Providence, Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for actuary services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide actuarial valuations for its employee retirement system to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- City government is responsible for providing such services as: general government, community development, administrative services, public safety, sanitation, public works, planning and development, workforce development, recreation, parks and public education. The City of Providence provides a defined benefit package to all full-time employees as prescribed by collective bargaining agreements and city ordinances.
- The Services shall include the preparation of the City of Providence pension funds, which reports must include:
1. Actuarial certification signed by appropriately credentialed actuaries;
2. Summary of the plan assets and plan provisions;
3. A statement of the actuarial cost method selected and actuarial assumptions;
4. The results of the valuation, including the recommended actuarial required contribution from the City to properly fund the City's pension within the current amortization schedule;
5. CAFR GASB statement disclosure information;
6. A separate glossary defining all technical terms
7. Up to twenty (20) hard copies of the report along with an electronic (PDF) version of the report.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
