[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide janitorial and cleaning services for restrooms, holding cells, offices, hallways, entry vestibules, training/conference rooms, locker rooms, fitness rooms and other spaces to the government authority located in Newport, RI.
- The complete janitorial cleaning at all facilities specified under the contract specifications. The City
of Newport will provide dispensers, paper towels, toilet paper and hand soap, trash bags and toilet seat cover. The awarded contractor’s cleaning personnel will be responsible for maintaining a check list for each site with the specified tasks listed and marked off as completed with the corresponding date and time.
- Per Cleaning
- Fill and clean all dispensers, stock toilet paper and hand towels if applicable.
- Clean and disinfect all wash basins, counters, and fixtures with non-abrasive cleanser.
- Wash and disinfect all urinals and toilets, removing stains and cleaning under rims and flush holes. Clean and disinfect toilet seats, fixtures and outside surfaces of urinals and toilets.
- Spot clean with detergent all walls, doors, mirrors, partitions and other surfaces as needed. Particular attention shall be focused on the spot cleaning of walls around sinks, hand dryers and flush levers
- Sweep and spot clean floors.
- Empty waste receptacles as needed
- Daily
- Empty, clean and disinfect all waste receptacles and insert new liners.
- Clean all mirrors, chrome, stainless steel, and polish to a shine.
- Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant detergent solution.
- Weekly
- Wash and disinfect walls, partitions, frames, doors.
- Brush off cobwebs from ceiling and fans.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
