[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide national guard armoury upgrades and modernization to the government authority located in Warwick, RI.
- Modify piping and ductwork systems as required for the system upgrades.
- Replace all air handling equipment including Packaged Rooftop Units, Air handling Units, VAV Boxes, duct heating coils and split systems. Exhaust fans shall not be replaced unless noted on plans.
- New non-proprietary control system (BMS). In addition to HVAC, the domestic water system shall also be controlled by the BMS.
- Plumbing and electrical work as required to support system and equipment changes.
- Plumbing work shall include new Gas meter, piping, fittings, joints, valves, hangers, supports, accessories, and pipe trenching as required to support system and equipment changes.
- Natural Gas Piping 2-1/2 in. and Larger: Schedule 40, black steel pipe (ASTM A120) with Schedule 40, black steel fittings. Pipe joints shall be welded or flanged.
- Natural Gas Piping and Gas Train Vents 2 in. and Smaller: Schedule 40, black steel pipe (ASTM B16.3) with 125-psi malleable iron, screwed fittings.
