Government Authority located in Providence, Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for private resource family care, recruitment, development and support service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide private resource family care, recruitment, development and support service to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- To continue reducing the number of children and youth who are inappropriately placed in congregate care settings.
- To increase the number of resource families available to accept placements.
- To ensure that children are placed in foster care settings appropriate for their individual levels of need, and that the right supports are in place for resource families to ensure a stable placement.
- To recruit Resource Families from communities where families are needed in partnership with broad groups of local organizations and current resource families.
- To establish a pool of resource families who will be supported by the successful vendors. These families shall be collectively capable of and willing to care for children with a wide range of needs. All resource families will be able to access appropriate services provided by the vendors so as to meet their needs and the needs of the child.
- To establish equity of payment for foster parent board rates. All resource families shall be paid under the same structure for the foster parent board rate by the department.
- To ensure that five percent (5 %) of the successful vendor contracted support families are available to accept foster children twenty-four (24) hours a day via placement by their associated private agency.
- To establish parity of foster parent board rates to ensure fairness and parity in financial support to resource families.
- To eliminate unrelated children being placed together in one resource family.
- To recruit and maintain certain Resource Families who are willing to work with and mentor birth families.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 15, 2019.
(3) A pre-bid and proposal conference will be held on February 13, 2019.
(4) Contract term will be two year.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
