[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide fire life safety upgrades to the government authority located in East Providence, RI.
- Through-penetrations of fire-resistance rated floor and roof construction associated with the
new fire alarm system installation.
- Through-penetrations of fire-resistance rated walls and partitions associated with the new fire
alarm system installation.
- Contractor shall sequence and coordinate the installation of all firestop systems with
other trades to ensure efficient installation of all firestop systems.
- The Firestopping Contractor shall maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and
ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results.
(2) A pre-bid conference will be held on November 1, 2018.
