(1) Vendor needs to provide professional development services to the government authority located in Providence, RI.– The PD series will ensure that Newcomer program administrators, teachers and other school staff receive training and resources on effective research–based strategies in best practices for instructing newcomer students.– The PD series will include professional development sessions on how to support and meet the diverse needs of our Newcomer students and families. included in these trainings should be the following: understanding and bridging informal ways of learning to effectively transition students to formal education, implementing a culturally responsive approach to sustaining an education framework that accounts for student's cultures, values believe, worldviews, and best practices to address student social emotional learning needs.– The training should be tailored for special education teachers, teacher assistants, team members, and related service providers who work with differently–abled newcomer students on delivering specialized instruction designed to meet their diverse needs in all four areas of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) All question must be submitted no later than February 13, 2025.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
