(1) Vendor needs to provide scientific, technical, design, equitable community and stakeholder engagement support services to the government authority located in Providence, RI. – Provide scientific, technical, design, and equitable community and stakeholder engagement support in analysis of the shoreline in the port area, and to develop recommendations for improvements in climate resilience, shoreline access and habitat restoration.– The technical analysis will be embedded in a multi–year learning experience that introduces residents to concepts such as climate risk resilience strategies, nature–based solutions, and habitat restoration to enable more effective community engagement with the technical work undertaken by the consultant.• Develop a website or web–based tool that serves as a communications hub for public access to the project, first showing historic maps and past shoreline conditions and extent of fill, then sharing data as it becomes available and visualizing potential project locations and future coastline improvements.• Develop content and tools that translate technical findings into clear communications that are easily understood by the average person without a scientific or technical background and can be used to share results across neighbourhoods.• Identify potential opportunities for grants, financing, and tax incentives to advance design prototypes and project implementation.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than Nov 8, 2024.
