(1) Vendor needs to provide housing planning visualizations support consultant service to the government authority located in Providence, RI. – Develop a statewide tool to screen potential sites.– This framework should include factors such as cost, presence of necessary infrastructure, proximity to transit options, zoning regulations, wetlands/conserved land, among others.– Analyze relevant data sources including GIS data, demographic information, environmental data, and available infrastructure data to identify sites for potential housing development across Rhode Island based upon the developed framework.– To develop analysis on a statewide basis, the Department requests that the vendor also develop capacity for conducting deeper analysis in more focused geographic areas– Develop visualizations and renderings to help build public support for housing development.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 24, 2024.
