(1) Vendor needs to provide land use data services to the government authority located in Rhode Island. – Develop new digital geographic information services (GIS) on municipal zoning, future land use, and building permits for all thirty–nine cities and towns.– Analysis of the spatial digital information and digital land use land cover and other development related data published.• Task 1 data development and mapping:– Consultant shall collect and analyze all municipal future land use maps for where cities and towns have planned to establish growth centers.• Written report in Microsoft Word on methodology for documentation of data gathering and writing Metadata• ArcGIS File geodatabase complying with Metadata standards containing:– Building permit data, analysis map, and layer file for municipalities– Municipal future land use maps and growth centers maps and layer for municipalities– Composite generalized statewide municipal future land use map and layer file– Municipal zoning districts maps & layer file for 39 municipalities– Composite generalized statewide municipal zoning districts as a layer file• Land use change and suitability analysis:– Land Availability Assessment – identify committed and available land within the State.– Land Suitability Analysis – combine data on resource values and constraints to identify the varying suitability of lands for development.– Land Intensity Potential Classification – combine suitability assessment with additional water resource and infrastructure considerations to assess an optimum development intensity potential for land in the State, especially undeveloped, unprotected areas.– Development and Conservation Area Prioritization – introduced proximity factors to prioritize undeveloped, unprotected areas for development or conservation.
