Vendor needs to provide town planner services to the government authority located in New Shoreham, RI.– Provide part–time services for municipal planning activities• Providing professional planning expertise and support to the Town Council, Planning Board, and other municipal departments as required.• Reviewing development proposals, zoning regulations, and land use applications for compliance with local ordinances and regulations.• Assisting in the formulation and implementation of long–term comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances.• Review and evaluate all site plans and subdivision applications to determine conformance and compliance with established regulations and their overall impact on Town’s Municipal Services• Conducting research, preparing reports, making presentations, and attending all Planning Board meetings.
