(1) Vendor needs to provide enrollment engineering services to the government authority located in Rhode Island. – Designated professional disciplines, including, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, building enclosure, and fire alarm and fire suppression/sprinkler systems engineering services for inclusion in an Open Enrollment (OE) List.– Multi–agency Engineering Services:– Structural Engineering Services:• Preparation of facility assessments and/or feasibility studies associated with repairs, modifications and/or new buildings or structural components as required.• Preparation of an evaluation and plan of action report on the existing buildings structural deficiencies.• Development of Cost estimates• Provide oversight and quality control through all phases of construction and close out.– Civil Engineering Services:• Preparation of site plans, including surveys, soil borings, and testing as required. Site plans may include, inter alia, existing elements such as telephone poles, railings, steps, vegetation, contours, utilities and associated infrastructure, underground structures, roadways, drainage and delineation of any areas under Department of Environmental Management or Coastal Resource Management Council jurisdiction.• Preparation of design documents, including plans, specifications and permits as required• Development and/or maintenance of a schematic of the distribution system using an acceptable computerized design drawing software.• Development of Cost estimates– Geotechnical Engineering Services:• Preparation of facility assessments and/or feasibility studies associated with repairs, modifications and/or new facilities as required.• Preparation of design documents, including surveys, soil borings, and testing associated with modifications and/or new facilities as required.– Transportation Engineering Services:• Provision of all services as described in Article 3 of AIA Document B101 – 2017 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Design Agent as offered by State of Rhode Island, acting by and through the Department of Administration, Division of Purchases.– Mechanical Engineering Services:• Design of new systems sufficient to meet site, structure and use considerations.• Design of new systems or components thereof– Electrical Engineering Services:• Evaluations of existing system conditions and components with regard to their suitability for either existing service or a proposed change in condition or service.– Plumbing Engineering Services:• Development and/or maintenance of a schematic of the distribution system using an acceptable computerized design drawing software. This product must be made available to the user agency in both a hard copy, PDF and in electronic format with read/write capabilities.– Environmental Engineering Services:• Provide construction administration services as needed, including, but not limited to: attendance at pre–bid conferences; assistance with vendor questions and responses; evaluation of bid proposals; and, review and recommendation for award and preparation of appropriate agreements.
