(1) Vendor needs to provide cultivate community partnerships services to the government authority located in Providence, RI.– Agency is seeking an independent non–profit organization to cultivate community partnerships that care for, improve and program Providence Parks and Recreation facilities and support the arts in our communities.– The entity must be willing to provide fiscal sponsorship, technical support, and assistance to park and recreation advocacy groups such as conservancies, friends groups, neighborhood associations, and other willing parties.– The selected organization must demonstrate organizational, staff, and fiduciary capacity to help neighborhood groups develop their local park, recreation facility into a vibrant, healthy, playful, and unique place using arts, culture, recreation, and play as strategies.• Fiscal Sponsorship– Fundraising: The selected organization will work with agency partners to secure and expand revenue streams and seek to raise $10,000+ annually from corporations, foundations, individuals, government sources, and fundraising events.– Finances and Investments: The selected organization will work with agency partners to create and oversee an annual budget and ensure that the organization meets fiscal goals throughout the year. It will also manage the fiscal sponsorship program, which will include regular budgeting updates.– Marketing and Communications: The selected organization will work with agency partners to create promotional materials. Will promote accomplishments and activities on social media platforms such as Facebook.– Advocacy: The selected organization will work with project partners to play a key role in advocating for our green spaces, recreation centers, and arts program.– Board of Directors: The selected organization will provide oversight for this work. Provide an ex officio role on the board for a representative of the agency partners.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than May 24, 2024.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
