[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide staffing pool services to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- To evaluate, recommend, and help implement a transformative support model that will improve long-term outcomes for adults
- seeks to shift towards a system of community-based supports that promote individual self-determination, choice, and control. The self-directed support model places the authority and control in the hands of the individual receiving the services
- Develop a staffing pool/registry for individuals in the self-direct support model
- Recruit staff to be employed by individuals in the self-direct model.
- Create marketing materials for recruitment.
- Conduct targeted outreach/recruitment for Spanish speaking staff, staff fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), and other specific needs
- Conduct background checks.
- Assist in matching of employer/employee based on needs and skill sets.
- Create a database of independent contractors/staff:
- Develop an online platform that houses potential employees’ information.
- Ensure the database is user friendly and easily accessible.
- Provide ongoing technical support to individuals accessing the database
- Provide trainings for independent contractors/employees:
- Host trainings on CPR, first aid, community navigation/mapping, and other trainings as determined relevant and necessary by the individuals in the self-directed support model.
- Document on an ongoing basis all trainings passed and completed by the independent contractors in their file.
- Develop rates for independent contractors:
- Develop pay scales for independent contractors (may be differing rates associated with different skill sets and/or abilities or shift differentials).
- Create marketing material that is reader friendly for potential employers that details the differing pay scales and reasons why
- Provide the State with information on outcomes:
- Ability to recruit, number of independent contractors.
- Collect data on satisfaction of independent contractors/employees this could be through surveys or interviews with employers.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
