[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide compensation study to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Schedule an initial meeting with the Labor Management Committee to discuss the process and tasks to be performed to include reasonable dedication of key personnel to confirm the scope of services, methodology, project timelines, and project deliverables.
- Include a Job Analysis and Job Evaluation concluding with draft of Job Descriptions.
- Perform an extensive salary and benefits study (to include comparison of each locality with other local government entities in the local area and comparable localities around the State, and where applicable, public, and private sector competition in the local area).
- Salary/wage study should include comparison of any premium pay offered.
- Evaluate current positions related to public education and government. Rate shall be compared to surrounding localities, other comparable localities in the State and, where applicable, public, and private sector competition in the local area.
- Offer recommendations regarding means of pay progression through the proposed salary plan.
- Present findings in a written report to the Labor Management Committee. The written report must also be provided in electronic format
- Review of Job Descriptions:
- The consultant will be provided with all job descriptions for the organization
- Review of current system:
- The consultant will review all elements of the existing system and will interview employees who are interested in meeting to discuss their experiences with the current system
- Market Survey:
- The consultant shall perform a market salary survey of private and public sector including State Education Agencies benchmark comparisons similar in size, population, economic climate, cost of living, proximity to a major city, Compare all employee salaries to internal and external markets.
- Compensation Schedule:
- Utilizing the market survey results and comparable job descriptions, the consultant shall prepare a recommended compensation plan and salary schedule to correspond.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA organization Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
