[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide web-based laboratory information management system with features that support modern testing laboratory operations.
- Develop, customize or configure a complete laboratory information management system solution, including transitioning or rebuilding system integrations between key reporting and lab customer systems;
- Provide development, training, and implementation support;
- If not, the incumbent proposing continuation for the existing system, migrate specified data from the legacy laboratory information management system to new laboratory information management system; and,
- Provide maintenance and technical support services.
• Ability to complete data conversion and migration from current system database
• Ability for the system to be flexible between specimen and patient centered focus
• Ability to set parameters for required fields when entering patient demographic information
both manually and through electronic interfacing
• Ability for electronic interfacing to pre-order specimen testing with patient demographics and insurance criteria if applicable.
• Ability for system to automatically populate unique numerical identifier for specimen processing and tracking regardless of whether received through electronic interface or
requisition
• Ability to generate bar-code labels for sample container labels.
• Ability to scan and auto-populate bar-code information within system.
• Sample/specimen, patient and ordering provider tracking; inclusion of supplemental document and images to test or sample; sub-aliquot and submission to other internal labs
for subsequent testing.
• Ability to configure both qualitative and quantitative measurements within the system
• Ability to report and flag both qualitative values and quantitative reference ranges
• Ability to define rules/algorithms for test workflows in the system
• Rules or algorithm system which allows for automated decision trees for tests where a
subsequent test is automatically queued based on receiving certain results
• Ability to manually enter results into system.
• Ability to import results into system through electronic interfacing with instruments
• Ability to convey freeform order comments on laboratory reports
• Ability to convey freeform comments relating to results on laboratory reports
• Ability to internally document order or result comments which are not visible on laboratory reports.
• Ability to configure mandatory result interpretations on laboratory reports.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 11, 2022.
