[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide financial risk management advisory services to review the historical and projected experience and provide recommendations on the best method to manage these risks and to move forward with a new strategy the respondent will provide implementation oversight services and to the extent possible any new products should be obtained through that broker to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- Reviewing the program and making recommendations for the best practice changes and improvements while adequately protecting the authority and other affected parties against risks arising from the authority operations.
- Assisting the authority with specific aspects of the program, including identifying appropriateness of claim processing functions; assistance with addressing retrospective or other deductible loss-sensitive premium adjustments for various polices; advising the authority regarding adjustment and settlement of claims; assisting the authority in recovering deductible and subrogation amounts.
- Reviewing policies, certificates, endorsements, and other documents to verify the accuracy and adequacy of coverage requirements and making recommendations to the authority for revisions.
- Assisting the authority in its process to procure insurance brokers as needed.
- When requested reviews financial security of insurance companies servicing the authority and provides recommendations if a company’s strength has been downgraded to a status that is no longer acceptable to the authority.
- Working with the authority on ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments for all assets.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 27, 2021.
