[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide world language proficiency assessments services to the government authority located in Providence, RI.
- World language proficiency assessment tools that measure student proficiency in the domains of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- An assessment with proven regional and national validity based on a nationally recognized proficiency scale.
- An assessment company with a proven track record of supporting student assessment in large, urban school districts.
- An assessment with an adaptive test design that adjusts to a student’s proficiency level.
- The ability to access assessment results in a short time-frame
- Research-based approach to assessment.
- Offer real time data reporting in the four language domains that is easily accessible by teachers and students.
- Provide ongoing product technology support, if applicable.
- A program that supports an automated roster-management feature for secure district data integration, if applicable.
- Assessments for Spanish language that are written in Spanish to be used to assess proficiency of native speakers.
- Digital system that has an efficient registration process for ease of registering large numbers of students.
- The ability to potentially assess adults in addition to students for the purpose of attaining the Global Seal of Biliteracy.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 29, 2021.
