[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide rapid response system upgrade
- A crash phone system is used to alert Airport personnel of current, or impending, aircraft emergencies at the Airport,
- The Airport is seeking a provider to use the latest technology to create a rapid response system that is scalable, easy to maintain, and incorporates user-friendly features. Proposed rapid
response equipment should be easily adaptable to various facilities,
- This shall include complete installation of the new system and removal of the existing system:
- Primary and secondary alert phone controllers
- All new alert phones
- All terminal adaptors (aka VoIP gateways)
- Network switches and all patch cables
- All fiber-optic patch cables
- Station alerting system,
- The Airport will be responsible for providing the infrastructure to support the alert phone System:
- All fiber-optic paths and fiber-optic patch panels,
- Equipment cabinets with cable management and power distribution,
- Public address (PA) system,
- Existing speakers and horns in stations,
- Provision of secure storage and staging area,
- Provision of protected power with auto start within 5 minutes,
- Provision of a VPN to the guest network for monitoring, maintenance, and repair,
- Provision of a rack mounted radio,
- responsible for installation, configuration and support of the alert phone system on site 24/7,
- Upon activation all alert phones shall ring and display status of all other stations, Speakers, connected PA systems and radios on the selected channel, shall all emit the audio of all parties on the call,
- The crash phone system shall activate the station alerting system to include gas-cutoff and audible announcements via the PA system in fire stations,
- Station Alerting System:
- SIP connection (this is the preferred connection type and is the one shown on drawing TT-611),
- 600 ohm balanced FXO interface (ring-down system VoIP Gateway will act as FXS interface) with ring detection and loop start, or
- 600 ohm balanced FXO interface (ring-down system VoIP Gateway will act as FXS interface) with loop start and a separate ring detection interface,
- One (1) or more audio inputs from Avaya Paging system.
(2) A Non-Mandatory Virtual pre-proposal meeting had been held on April 15, 2021
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than April 16, 2021.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
