[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide assessment and strategic recommendations services for air cargo development
- operational needs and facility requirements of domestic and international cargo integrators,
supply chain logistic firms, freight forwarders, and customs brokers; domestic and international air cargo industry trends evolving from the COVID-19 pandemic
- Identify the origin and destination of domestic and international air cargo, the specific air carriers
involved, and the specific commodities shipped,
- Identify what types of cargo can best be shipped and received at PVD in meeting industry needs from analysis of market demands through contacts in the areas of domestic and international cargo integrators, supply chain logistic firms, freight forwarders, and customs brokers,
- Identify the complete cost structure of air cargo operations to include aircraft landing fees, cargo
facility lease rates, ground service fees for loading/unloading, belly cargo charges, warehouse storage charges, etc,
- Identify specifically targeted opportunities for PVD to attract and/or divert existing domestic and
international air cargo service from incumbent and new entrant operators, develop new opportunities that may exist for cargo operations at PVD within the region, and consider cargo opportunities through designation as well as the impacts that the COVID-19 environment has or may produce,
- Identify the types, sizes and capabilities of new facilities and infrastructure required to meet the industry needs (warehouse, cross-dock, cold/frozen storage, FIS/customs, loading/unloading equipment, etc.) within the air cargo development areas identified in Master Plan.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 10, 2021.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
