Government Authority located in Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for licensed ambulance service for COVID-19 vaccination sites.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide licensed ambulance service for COVID-19 vaccination sites to the government authority located in Rhode Island.
- The team must bring an EMS kit stocked with a full complement of basic and advanced life support supplies and medications in order to respond to any adverse events at the onsite vaccination clinics.
- Of particular importance are epinephrine auto-injectors, diphenhydramine, hydrocortisone, intravenous supplies, oxygen, oxygen delivery equipment, airway adjuncts and a cardiac monitor with defibrillation capabilities.
• The team must be present for the entire duration of MEDS POD hours of operation.
• RIDOH currently expects MEDS POD (aka vaccine clinic) hours of operation to be 8 hours/day, 6 days/week. Each location will have a set schedule and hours of operation will be extended to night and weekend.
• The team must be available to call 911 for a local transport in case of emergency transport. The need to support the treatment and the care of the patient until transport is available. No ambulance vehicle is required to be on-site.
