Vendor needs to provide human resources consultant services to the government authority located in Pawtucket, RI.
- Provide support and assistance to the human resources department to streamline current benefit activities, including setting up direct file feeds to carriers and vendors
- COBRA/HIPAA administration
- Explore EAP and other wellness programs and initiatives, including offering new programs and discounts to offset cost of employee and employer healthcare contributions
- Provide ongoing support to the city human resources department on health insurance regulations, including advising, training and implementation of changes under health care law, such as the affordable care act
- Auditing current systems and processes to obtain compliance in areas such as i-9s, employee file requirements (virtual and paper files), records retention, dependent eligibility, and other mandated requirements
- Ability to provide technical reports and analysis, including audits, requested by city as needed
- Guide and assist the city with the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that may span multiple fiscal years
- Provide on-site training and support to city hr department when necessary
- Online web-based portfolio of benefits offering for employees and perspective employees.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
