Government Authority located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for dental insurance coverage services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide dental insurance coverage services to all eligible employees to the government authority located in Pawtucket, RI.
- The contractor shall maintain central claims and membership files for each member;
- The contractor shall provide state-of-the-art data tracking and claim payment services;
- The contractor shall ensure the city's data is secure;
- The contractor shall provide identification cards to all members prior to the effective date of the plan. Throughout the term of the contract, the contractor shall provide identification cards to any new members within seven (7) business days of receipt of the member's eligibility information;
- The contractor shall process all paper and electronic eligibility and enrollments for the city;
- The contractor shall assist all Members with electronic and paper bill reconciliations when requested by Members;
- The contractor shall provide the city with a detailed renewal underwriting analysis no later than ninety (90) days prior to an upcoming renewal period, or earlier if requested by the City;
- The contractor shall provide the city, no later than the 15th day of each month, with an eligibility report and monthly bill, both in Microsoft excel format including the following information for all members: social security number (or other system generated number), first and last names, active and COBRA, effective date, claims amount, any fees charged;
- The contractor shall provide the city with an administrative procedures manual necessary for the city's participation in the implementation of the plan, including all necessary forms and instructional materials;
- The contractor shall notify the city and all affected Members in writing at least 60 days before a dentist leaves the dental network or closes an office in the dental network.
- The contractor shall designate a primary, dedicated customer service contact responsible for resolving problems, answering claims, reviewing eligibility and coverage questions and administrative or billing issues, and expediting services related to the plan.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 1, 2020.
(3) Contract term will be one year.
