[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide development of a sustainable and improved broadband network infrastructure to serve all residents, businesses, visitors and all Town facilities,
- The broadband network is expected to be capable of providing 1Gbps symmetrical access community –approximately 1800 developed commercial, residential and mixed-use parcels and a population that can swell to 20,000 on a peak summer day but can decrease below 1,000 in the winter, the design, buildout and operation of a robust broadband network on Block Island with connectivity back to the mainland. The network will provide 1Gbps symmetrical access to approximately 1800 developed commercial, residential and mixed-use parcels structures and a large visitor population, fire alarm monitoring system transition from radio communications to ethernet communication between commercial and municipal facilities and the police department, to the to the government authority located in Rhode Island.
(2) All questions had been submitted no later than October 4, 2019.
