Government Authority located in Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendors for customer billing system.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide customer billing system for the aforementioned software components that make up the PW billing system. professional services are defined as routine maintenance, upgrading, patching, modifications, enhancements, general questions, answers, documentation, proactive support, reactive incident response, project-based assignments and anything else else PW deems appropriate for health and well-being of the billing system and the information contained within.
- Professional services include
- Keeping the operating systems up-to-date.
- Keeping the operating systems patched with the latest critical and security patches.
- Maintaining application software at the latest general availability (GA) release.
- Keeping application software patched with the latest critical and security patches.
- Resolving problems as they arise.
- Modifying or enhancing the billing system to satisfy regulatory agencies and state tax mandates.
- The occasional conversion from wholesale customers (regions) into retailer customers (individuals). - Typically, this involves ETL (exporting, transforming and importing) customer and billing information from one platform into the PW billing system.
- Computers requiring professional services include, the server running the Webcast web application. Currently, SUSE Linux, the server running the Oracle database. Currently, SUSE Linux.
- Applications requiring professional services include, but are not limited to:
- The Customer*STAR application.
- The Webcast web application and all of its sub-components including, but not limited to, JSP, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Java and Java web services
- The database that stores customer and billing information. Currently, Oracle.
- The Lutron MV-RS application.
- The ltron FCS application.
- Windows scripting, Linux scripting and Oracle SQL scripting.
- Ensure secure transfer of daily customer and billing information to online payment vendor
- Ensure secure transfer of monthly bill statements to the print vendor
- Ensure lockbox processing of customer payments
(2) The contract term will be for two years.

Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
