Government Authority located in Wakefield, Rhode Island; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for turf management supplies and consulting services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide turf management supplies and consulting services to the government authority located in Wakefield, RI.
- Able to provide a primary representative with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in product sales and support of athletic turf, grounds, and parks managers
- Provide a secondary representative with a degree in turf grass, plant and soil science, or related fields, primary representative must commit a minimum of 4 hours per month to the park superintendent in order to collaboratively evaluate and improve upon the results of the turf management program
- Educating clients concerning product innovation and technology from green industry manufacturers
- Weeds, disease, insect identification and control on athletic fields and lawns
- Understanding state guidelines, familiarity with municipal procurement, working understanding of compliance to nutrient regulations and posting, record keeping requirements
- Turf grass identification and selection on sites with various environmental and logistical conditions
- Collaborative creation of strategies and turf grass management programs that adhere to budget and procurement guidelines
- Interpretation of soil, paste, water testing, and application recommendations according to test results
- Ability to work collaboratively and train park superintendent in use of web based agronomic planner
- Assistance with all aspects of ordering, application methods, application equipment needs, accounting, data handling and general questions. must be available during general business hours
- Assisting south parks and recreation in accessing advisors for consulting in athletic field design, renovation and construction, irrigation audit and design, sustainability planning, environmental law and regulatory compliance.
(2) The term of the contract shall be three years.

Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
