[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide professional architectural and engineering services related to the conversion of the former market building into a public library to the government authority located in Narragansett, RI.
- Make recommendations for any additional pre-design due diligence that may be required, note that the board envisions using the second-floor space above pier liquors as public space, and as such an elevator and other required measures will be required and the selected a\e firm shall evaluate options for both an internal elevator as well as constructing an external elevator shaft enclosure and the referenced architects report includes a discussion on potential elevator shaft locations.
- Incorporate the programmatic elements of the planning for the future - a library building program report into the preliminary and final design
- Incorporate the requirements and discussion and options relative to leadership in energy and environmental design alternatives for this project and review and comment on oils requirements if any for sustainable design and energy efficiency.
- Development of preliminary plans and specifications for all building elements and trades.
- Development of preliminary construction cost and services during construction cost estimates.
- Validation of proposed scope of work and project budget.
- Assignment of priorities to project components.
- Development of a schedule for final design, permitting, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Final design and development of complete plans and specifications, ready for bidding.
- Project cost estimate based on the final design documents.
- Includes an option for converting the current pier liquors space into library space, per all applicable codes.
(2) A pre-submission conference will be held on April 9, 2019.
(3) All question must be submitted no later than April 17, 2019.

- Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be onsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
